This wall hanging quilt was made by layering fabrics and textiles, mainly my own hand dyed -to create the background which was heavily quilted using many different free motion patterns. The dragon fly was hand painted using Lumiere paints and quilted separately then couched onto the scene

This quilt showcases my favourite leaf shape, they are all different in size and their shapes, but evoke movement and are perfect to quilt in the fantastic lines to show that movement.
