I have always loved art and crafts. But really struggled with how to make my painting realistic. I can remember as a pre-teen loving a certain creek close to where I lived, I carefully made a map of where all the trees and bushes were, but when I came to paint it, it was just like a map. My biggest gripe at school is that they never taught you how to put a painting together.

Salvation came in my late 30's when we holidayed with my parents in Queensland. I went with Mum to one of her painting lessons under Harry Tremain. His method showed me how to put a painting together and I was off. That was 35 years ago.

I am not a professional. I am just an amateur who loves to paint, and share this method with as many who have struggled like me..
