“Mixed media shadow box explores the world of illusion and performance. The miniature stage is where magic has been frozen mid act, inviting the viewer to question.
The shadow box has allowed me to play with depth, light and shadow reinforcing the theatrical nature of the scene. Found objects add a sense of history and mystery that mirrors the life of a magician and his assistant.”
